NEOVENATOR GEL-ADHESIVE COUNTER-SWARM

THE SUPERLATIVE SOLUTION TO SWARMS

Saturation attacks with swarming UAS are becoming an increasing reality for the warfighter. CUAS systems currently seen to be the future are highly fallible: 


  • Interceptors can't target entire swarms properly
  • Electronic warfare may be useless after a single enemy update
  • Conventional effectors are too expensive


Instead, we propose a simple solution: target the swarm as a whole, not the individual aircraft, deploying gel-adhesive over a larger area of airspace, keeping effective gel-adhesive suspended in the air to effect the swarm.

FEATURES

Unlike electronic warfare, which can be rendered useless with a single enemy software update, and unlike netting/high speed kinetic impact, which enemy UAS are rapidly redesigning to counter through airframe design, gel-adhesives are both kinetic and can't be designed against. 


There is no aircraft, drone or otherwise currently in military service that does not have surfaces that are exposed to Neovenator. 


Baryonyx has an effect on the essential parts of any aircraft: 


Externally 


  • Rotor surfaces
  • Wings
  • Control Surfaces
  • Gimbals



Internally


  • Engine blades
  • Rotor mechanisms
  • Fuel Intake Systems



Neovenator has a negative, flight crippling effect on nearly all aircraft, either by mechanical jamming or aerodynamic fouling. 

DESIGNED FOR SWARM DEFEAT

Swarming systems are difficult to target and even harder to defeat en-masse.


Our solution proposes area dispersal of Neovenator (BAD-72/73H) : gel-adhesive substances adapted for wide area dispersal, aerial lingering, and swarm defeat.  It has much the same effect of Baryonyx, but instead droplets agglomerate on surfaces/internal structures as aircraft fly through the 'cloud.' Even individual droplets adhere and expand to many times their original size, and effectively 'glue' internal mechanisms via rapid curing, and cause major aerodynamic fouling. In short, even as an aerosol cloud, gel-adhesive obstructive ordnance has excellent effect. 


Individual systems don't need to be targeted with precision, one only needs to disperse roughly in the airspace the swarm is in, or is in its flight path (the airspace it will be in.)
